Resident and Medical Student Poster Presentations
The Nebraska Academy of Family Physicians would like to extend an invitation for medical students and Family Medicine residents to display a research poster at the 69th Annual Scientific Assembly on Friday, March 31, 2017.
We would like to invite any medical students and/or residents interested in sharing their work, whether their research advisor is a Family Physician or not. Students will be eligible for submitting a poster if they are enrolled in an accredited medical school in Nebraska as of January 1, 2017. Students who are not currently enrolled in a medical school in Nebraska will not be eligible. Family Medicine Residents from a residency located in Nebraska will be eligible to submit a poster to the Scientific Assembly.
Research posters will be displayed at the Embassy Suites La Vista Conference Center on Friday, March 31, 2017 from 8:00 am to 3:15 pm. Residents and students are required to be present to answer questions about their projects from 2:30 pm - 3:15 pm while meeting attendees are viewing the posters. All posters will be judged by members of the NAFP Research & Scientific Affairs Committee on Friday morning. Three $100 awards will be given for the top resident research posters, and all medical students and residents participating at the meeting will receive a monetary participation award.
